Over the one hundred plus years since the first Morris car was produced, a wealth of documents has been printed about them.

These include sales brochures, handbooks, manuals, service information sheets, magazine reviews and Morris Motors own in-house magazine "The Morris Owner", which began publication in 1924 and continued in different forms into 1970.

For the first time, in the interests of sharing information, Morris Archive aims to make such documents available to enthusiasts world wide free of charge. There is no need to join a club to get hold of such info any more, or to buy CDs on eBay!

The documentation on this website is limited to pre-1940 vehicles (or more strictly, to Morris vehicles designed before 1940), as a number of pre-war vehicles restarted production after the war.

For pre-war Morris 8 owners, there is the opportunity for the first time to consult an extract from the Morris Motors Progress Books from Cowley to pinpoint the date your car began its build.
